A Squash and a Squeeze Inspired Number Recognition Cards

Bring early maths into story inspired play with our A Squash and a Squeeze Number Recognition Cards, designed to encourage children to count carefully and connect quantities with numerals.

Children can count the familiar characters and animals before choosing the number that matches what they can see. The set includes people, chickens, cows, goats, pigs and animals inside the house, with three number choices on every card.

Add wooden pegs for children to clip onto their chosen answer or introduce loose parts and farm animals so they can recreate the quantities and check their counting through hands on play.

Perfect for supporting counting, number recognition, one to one correspondence, quantity matching, observation and fine motor development through familiar story inspired learning.

Count. Notice. Choose. Clip.
