The Gruffalo Inspired Number Recognition Cards

Bring early maths into story inspired play with our Gruffalo Number Recognition Cards, designed to make counting and number recognition simple, visual and playful.

Children can count the familiar woodland characters and creatures in each picture before choosing the number that matches what they can see. The set includes Gruffalos, mice, foxes, owls, snakes and butterflies, with three number choices on every card.

Add wooden pegs for children to clip onto their answer, or pair the cards with loose parts and small world resources so children can physically count, match and check quantities as they play.

Perfect for supporting one to one correspondence, counting, number recognition, visual discrimination and fine motor development through familiar story inspired play.

Count. Notice. Choose. Clip.
