Festivity, Giving & Shared Joy | Inclusive Curriculum Framework

SKU: TEYE-285

Meaningful play, thoughtful teaching and endless opportunities to explore, from our youngest babies through to Nursery, Reception, Key Stage 1 and beyond.

Our Festivity, Giving & Shared Joy Curriculum Framework celebrates the magic of winter through kindness, creativity, curiosity and meaningful shared experiences.

Designed by an experienced early years teacher, this beautifully illustrated digital framework is so much more than a collection of activities. It brings together carefully considered invitations to play, purposeful curriculum connections, inclusive adaptations and practical guidance to support practitioners and families in creating rich learning experiences without adding unnecessary pressure.

At The Early Years Edit, we believe that learning through play does not stop when children leave the EYFS. Our resources are designed to grow with children, recognising that the same invitation can inspire sensory discovery in a toddler, imaginative exploration in Nursery, purposeful learning in Reception and deeper investigation for older children.

Eight Meaningful Invitations to Play

Explore eight thoughtfully developed invitations, including Silver Celebration Kitchen, A Winter Feast for Everyone, The Lost Presents, Giant's Winter Wash, Jingle Bell Sound Soup, Little Christmas Bakery, Reindeer Midnight Feast and Winter Wish Potion Kitchen.

Each invitation is designed to be revisited, adapted and extended, allowing children to follow their own interests, develop confidence and deepen their understanding over time.

With silver as our colour of the month, twelve as our number and Jingle Bells as our nursery rhyme, meaningful connections are woven naturally throughout the framework.

Inclusion at the Core

Inclusion is not an additional consideration within our framework. It is at the heart of everything we create.

We recognise that children develop, communicate and participate in different ways. Each invitation offers opportunities to adapt resources, simplify experiences, support communication and remove barriers, allowing every child to explore in ways that feel meaningful to them.

Whether a child is exploring through touch, movement, observation, signing, spoken language or imaginative play, their participation is valued.

Supporting Learning Beyond the EYFS

We are particularly passionate about demonstrating that play continues to have an important place in children's learning throughout primary education.

Our additional Nursery, Reception and Key Stage 1 and beyond guidance shows how familiar sensory and imaginative invitations can develop into purposeful investigations, mathematical challenges, meaningful writing, practical problem solving and creative projects.

For home educating families, the framework offers inspiration that can be explored flexibly, following children's interests while making connections to relevant curriculum learning.

The same invitation. Different opportunities. Meaningful learning for every stage.

Designed to Support, Not Overwhelm

We know that early years practice is busy, and meaningful provision should not depend on creating something new every day.

Our framework encourages a slower, more intentional approach. Invitations can remain available, be revisited throughout the month and adapted in response to children's interests.

There are no compulsory outcomes, no rigid weekly timetable and no expectation that every child will engage in the same way.

Simply choose what works for your children, adapt what you need and enjoy the learning that unfolds.

Because the most valuable learning is not always found in what children create, but in what they discover along the way.
