Hickory Dickory Dock | Nursery Rhyme Playdough Mat

Hickory dickory dock, the mouse ran up the clock!

Bring this timeless nursery rhyme to life with a beautifully illustrated, watercolour-inspired playdough mat designed to encourage creativity, storytelling and early mathematical exploration.

Featuring a charming little mouse, a traditional grandfather clock and a cosy cottage-inspired setting, this printable invitation to play has a special feature: a blank clock face ready for children to explore!

Can they create the clock hands using playdough? Make numbers for the clock? Perhaps create a little mouse to run up and down, just like in the rhyme!

Learning through play:

• Introduces early awareness of clocks, numbers and time.

• Encourages counting, sequencing and mathematical language.

• Strengthens fine motor skills through shaping and manipulating dough.

• Supports communication, rhyme, rhythm and storytelling.

• Encourages positional language such as up, down, above and below.

Perfect for nursery rhyme week, early maths provision, childminders, nurseries, Reception classrooms and home education.
