March Bingo For Children
A playful way to notice, revisit and explore throughout March.
This is not about winning. It is not about completing every square. It is not about ticking for the sake of it.
It is about noticing what is already happening within your provision.
What It Supports
March Bingo gently encourages children to:
• Spot signs of change in nature
• Notice light and shadow
• Revisit familiar invitations
• Observe growth over time
• Use language linked to texture, colour and comparison
The prompts are rooted in real experiences from the March Curriculum Framework: planting, sensory play, art, investigation and outdoor exploration.
Nothing artificial. Nothing forced.
Just playful noticing.
How To Use
Display as a wall poster. Keep near your provision. Refer to it naturally during the day.
Children may point. They may remember. They may simply carry on playing.
There is no pressure to “get bingo”.
Repetition, familiarity and return are what deepen learning.
