Meet Our Ambassadors

Our ambassadors are carefully chosen early years professionals who genuinely use and believe in The Early Years Edit. They aren’t selected for follower numbers, but for integrity, reflective practice and a shared commitment to calm, sustainable, inclusive provision. Each ambassador uses our resources within their own setting and provides honest feedback, helping shape and strengthen what we create. If our approach resonates with you and you’d like to represent The Early Years Edit, keep an eye out for open ambassador calls or get in touch to express your interest, we’re always looking for values aligned practitioners to grow with us.

I run a small childminding setting, that’s offers a warm, family-like environment where my focus is to make every child feel that they truly belong. Being a small setting allows me to focus closely on each child’s next steps, supporting their learning and development with clear, purposeful planning tailored just for them.

We love exploring fun, hands-on activities together, creating joyful experiences that help children grow in confidence while feeling safe, valued, and part of our little family. We cant wait to explore, “the early years edit” within our setting!

Hi I'm Ria, owner of Mana Childcare in the coastal town of Scarborough, North Yorkshire. We have a Hygge accredited setting which I am so very proud of. Using nature based resources and the local environment as our foundation to grow and learn holistically, recognising each child as the magical individual they are.

Hi, I’m Kerry, co-owner of Little Warrens Den, a small but busy none-domestic childminding setting in Derbyshire. As a mum and early years professional, I’m passionate about creating a setting where children feel happy, secure and free to learn through play. The Den is all about building strong relationships with families, encouraging curiosity, and giving children a safe space to grow and thrive. I’m really excited to be part of the Early Years Edit community and share ideas with other educators.

CFH Childcare

CFH Childcare is my own childminding setting, so it only feels right to include it as part of the ambassador programme. I use the resources daily within my setting, and I truly believe in them because I see the impact first-hand. I reap what I sow, and I would never promote something that isn’t embedded into my own practice every single day. 💛

Sam Spondon Childminder

Hi I am Sam. I’ve been a childminder for nearly sixteen years, and my ethos is simple: childhood is precious. I believe children deserve time to explore, to wonder, to ask questions, and to move through the world at their own pace. My role is to meet each child exactly where they are, walk alongside them, and support them as they discover a love of learning in their own way. I run a small, family‑centred setting, working with my son on Mondays and Wednesdays and with my mum on Tuesdays, while completing the final months of my Early Years degree. We care for up to seven children aged 18 months to nearly four, many of whom come from families who have been with us for years. Our little community feels more like a childminding family than a service, and that sense of belonging is at the heart of everything we do.

Hi, I’m Rachel a childminder in Nottinghamshire. I’m a mum to 4 children and have worked with children from the age of 16.
I decided to become a childminder when my third child was born.
In my setting we love to do lots of different activities such as crafts, baking, going on adventures and lots more.
