Can You Find… Autumn Cards

A really simple resource, but one with so much learning hidden inside it.

Our Can You Find… Autumn Cards are designed to get children looking a little closer, exploring their environment and thinking about the things they can see, touch and discover.

The cards use simple prompts including something orange, bumpy, small, round, soft, smooth, something that rolls and something crunchy, giving children a starting point without telling them exactly what they need to find.     Can you find... Autumn word car…

Take them outside on an autumn walk, hide them amongst a sensory tray, add them to your tuff tray or simply choose a card and explore your setting together. Can you find something smooth? What else feels bumpy? Can we find something that rolls?

They're lovely for supporting descriptive language, communication and language, sensory exploration, early maths and understanding of the world, while encouraging children to investigate for themselves.

No complicated set-up needed. Print them, laminate them and use them wherever the play takes you.

Includes 8 printable Can You Find… Autumn Cards on 1 A4 page.
